Gym Class Storage made Easy.
LEVPRO helps teachers organize and store gym equipment, letting you spend less time searching for supplies, and more time with your students.
The Challenge // Scattered storage
An elementary school in Wisconsin was using four different storage areas for physical education equipment. Having a packed storage room, the school was forced to store items on shelving in the gymnasium, or in a storage room on a different side of the school. Staff were continually frustrated by the cramped and cluttered storage areas, and it took them a long time to find equipment and put it away properly. They wanted a clean, efficient system that would allow them to spend more time planning and preparing for class, and less time hunting and gathering equipment.
The Solution // Suspended shelving
The school acquired a 12x8x4 LEVPRO system*, which utilizes shelving units suspended on an overhead track. Instead of lining up shelves along a wall, the shelves are turned sideways and suspended, achieving double the storage space! Teachers can use the handles to easily slide the shelves to gain access to stored equipment. The LEVPRO system arrived in flat-pack boxes and it took three men about four hours to install the system using standard tools. While the uprights needed to be bolted to the floor for safety, no modifications needed to be made to the room. The system was ready to be used the same day!
“With LEVPRO, finding and storing equipment is seamless, allowing our staff to spend more time planning and preparing for class, and less time hunting down and gathering equipment and supplies.” – Anneke Legge – Physical Education Teacher at Cambridge Elementary

The Result // Accessible & Organized
Our LEVPRO system allowed teachers to move all the frequently used equipment into the gym storage room, getting rid of their rundown homemade shelving. By doubling storage capacity and storing similar items together, staff can quickly and easily find what they need. Cleaning under the shelving and returning items after class is a breeze, too!
Even with the addition of some new equipment, the elementary school still has some extra space for additional gear! And most importantly, the physical education teachers have more time to devote to educating kids. Read more about our storage solutions for K-12 athletic equipment.
